Our standard wood pergolas are made of either pressure-treated southern yellow pine or cedar, depending on the style. Solid laminated 5×5 posts hold up solid roof joists and runners to create a stunning shade canopy from the afternoon sun. Heavy-duty double headers with braces, concrete anchor brackets, and stainless-steel screws are all used to create a pergola that will last for years to come, guaranteed.

Standard Specifications:

Anchor Brackets

Our posts are built with a solid pressure-treated pine wood 5″x 5″ posts. Each post comes with a powder-coated bracket at the base to attach directly onto your concrete pad or wood deck.

Post Trim, Brace & Headers

Your wood pergola is designed with solid 2″x6″ joists spans shorter side and 2″x4″ runners span longer side, both with scalloped ends and notched intersections to resist warping. Heavy duty double 2×6 header with braces for rigidity

Our wood pergolas are made from responsibly-forested wood sources, a renewable resource that makes them an environmentally-friendly choice.

Here is a timeline of our ordering process

Visit the Shop!

Come by the shop to speak with our experts to determine what is possible with your backyard vision. Bring in pictures of inspiration, where you want the shed built, and colors you'd like to match.

Place Order

We have multiple styles and options for our structures. After you decide on the style, size and options you want for your structure, we will place your order. Lead times vary on style and size of your structure.

Schedule Delivery

About a week before we are set to receive your order we will call you to schedule the delivery date. Please check our Jobsite Requirements to ensure a smooth build process.

Build Day

Depending on the structure you’ve chosen and dimensions of said structure, it will normally take our team around 1 day to complete.

FAQs

If needed, who is responsible for getting permits/variances?

The Amish Craft Barn is not responsible for obtaining permits or variances, if necessary. It is the homeowners responsibility to obtain any permits or variances, according to your Town regulations.

Is there financing available?

Do you hook up electric?

No our crew currently does not fully set up electric. If you order the electrical package with your unit that means we will drill holes to accommodate for wires and electrical boxes but you will need to contact your electrician to get it connected properly.
